More About Children's Heart ClinicThe Children's Heart Clinic was founded in 1973 by Dr. Harold Katkov, a pediatrician in Edina, Minnesota who recognized the need to start a pediatric cardiology program in the Twin Cities area.
Dr. Katkov, along with Dr. Hovald Helseth, a pediatric cardiovascular surgeon who was practicing primarily on adults at Methodist Hospital and Hennepin County Medical Center, recruited Dr. Amarjit Singh, a board certified and trained pediatric cardiologist in 1975.
Since those beginning years, the Children's Heart Clinic has flourished into the group of pediatric cardiovascular experts it is today.
